The Bear Den Roars

The “Bear Den” stadium at Burke County High School in Waynesboro, GA hosts a winning football program, with multiple regional championships from 1991 to 2019, and a state championship in 2011. To bring the fan and player experience to the next level, they recently upgraded their scoreboard and installed a full color display with our Advanced Live Video system.

They wanted to use as much space as possible for the display, and worked with a trusted Vantage LED dealer to design the right system for them. This turned out to be a great looking installation with a banner on top, large 14’ x 31’ video board, then the traditional scoring system below.

This approach helps provide a full canvas for live video clips, sponsor ads, and other dynamic content while still displaying the main score and game details. Content is played directly from the press-box, with multiple options for scheduled content, instant content and video sources all from a single workstation.
