Lift Your Attention – UCR Rec Center
The University of California, Riverside revitalized the visual landscape of its campus rec center, replacing their tiled LCD video boards with two high-performance indoor Vantage LED Vi Series displays. Installed in collaboration with ABV Scoreboard Services, these new screens provide a massive upgrade in clarity and reliability for a facility that serves as a central hub for student recreation.
Optimized Visual Impact
The main gym upgrade features a large, centrally located display that is highly visible from both floors, supported by a secondary smaller LED unit on the upper level. These displays offer a high-energy aesthetic that keeps students and staff informed through a seamless, professional-grade experience.
Seamless Integration
The project was executed with efficiency in mind, using the the gym’s existing power and data infrastructure for the new displays. This clever approach minimized installation time and reduced overall costs. Because the Vi Series supports multiple video inputs and diverse configurations, the university now possesses a scalable communication tool that can adapt to various events and operational needs.

Beyond the visual improvements, the Vantage LED solution addresses the core operational frustrations UCR previously faced. The new hardware is significantly more energy-efficient than the former LCD network and requires minimal long-term maintenance.
